Description:
ABOUT THE JOB:
We are seeking multiple engineers to provide validation of system requirements for a full-suite avionics system.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years system development of safety critical embedded avionics systems
- Experience with application of ARP4754A to system design and validation
- Experience validating system requirements for an avionics equipment suite
- Experience tracing system requirements both upstream and downstream
- System requirements validation experience with one or more of the following avionics subsystem types: Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, Heads up displays, Cockpit displays, Flight Management Systems, Other
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks
- Self-motivated and takes the initiative to get things done
- Detail-oriented
- Process-oriented
- Team-driven mentality
- Experience working with remote team members
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Understanding of system safety considerations
- Experience with DOORS requirements management application
- Experience with Jira change management application
- Experience with Collaborator review management application
- Experience verifying implementation of System Change Requests (SCRs) including Test Case and Test Procedure development
- Experience with DO-178
