Responsibilities
  • Perform and ensure proper completion of all avionics activities as assigned by management
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electrical systems and equipment
  • Test, troubleshoot, repair, install and inspect aircraft electronic systems and components including communications, navigation, and autoflight equipment
  • Inspect and test aircraft instrument, electrical and avionics systems
  • Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate
  • Ensure that all components installed on aircraft are properly certified
  • Carry out duties as per the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance manuals and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards
  • Attend training courses as required by management and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
  • Occasionally will be assigned “M” related hands-on duties such as disassembling aircraft systems, removal of defective components and installing replacement parts, components and structuresPerform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
