OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Avionics Test Technician to join our dynamic team to carry out testing of avionic components using automated test equipment (ATE) in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on operating test systems, recording accurate results, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, on-time service to customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in electronics, avionics, or a technical/engineering environment (desirable but not essential; full training provided).
  • Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and procedures with high accuracy.
  • Good IT/data entry skills for updating systems and recording results.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus when working with repetitive tasks.
  • Reliable, well-organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Awareness of the importance of quality, compliance, and on-time service delivery.

    Pay: £31,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Operate automated test equipment (ATE) to perform functional testing of avionic components.
  • Follow established procedures and technical documentation to ensure consistent, compliant testing.

  • Identify and escalate test failures or anomalies to senior technicians/inspectors for further action.
  • Work to agreed turnaround times to support on-time delivery performance.
  • Contribute to maintaining an organised, safe, and compliant working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Avionics team to achieve departmental goals.
