Description Avon Area Manager – Step Up, Lead, and Make a Splash! Whether you’re a returning guard ready to take the next step or a college student looking to build real-world leadership skills — this is your moment. We’re looking for energetic, dependable, and people-focused Area Managers to help lead operations at 3–6 pool facilities. You’ll be the go-to person for your team and clients, making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and with great vibes all around. If you’re the type who loves problem-solving, motivating others, and staying active — this is the job for you. What You’ll Do Lead & Support: Oversee daily operations and lifeguard teams across multiple sites Build relationships with clients and ensure top-notch service Mentor and motivate your crew to perform at their best Keep It Running: Monitor pool chemicals, water quality, and facility safety Tackle minor maintenance or cleanliness issues before they grow Keep each facility inspection-ready and guest-approved Stay Connected: Communicate clearly with the District Manager and Aquatics Office Jump in to help as needed — including lifeguarding when required Respond quickly to facility or staffing issues Grow Your Leadership Skills: Supervise 15–40 employees within your area Provide feedback, encouragement, and coaching Run orientations for new and returning staff throughout the season Who You Are A strong communicator who leads by example Friendly, confident, and great at solving problems on the fly Able to stay calm, flexible, and professional — even when things get hectic Someone who cares about safety, teamwork, and doing the right thing Ready to level up your leadership game and make a real impact Requirements: High school diploma or GED (or in progress) At least 17 years old Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (We offer training!)
