JOB DESCRIPTION:
As AVP of Brand Partnerships & Buying Strategic Initiatives, you will serve as a key enterprise leader, driving the execution of transformative business strategies across multiple functions. You will provide executive oversight of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while delivering operational excellence, cross-functional integration, and scalable growth. This role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments to deliver high-impact results.
Enterprise Strategy & Initiative Leadership
Serve as the executive sponsor and enterprise lead for high-profile initiatives such as Reliance-SFA USA and Saks on Amazon, ensuring successful cross-functional execution across merchandising, marketing, real estate, and brand partners.
Lead the strategic planning, prioritization, and execution of complex, enterprise-level programs that align with long-term business objectives and drive revenue growth.
Define and implement scalable processes that support business agility, innovation, and partnership expansion.
Business Planning & Executive Alignment
Drive the annual strategic planning process, executive business reviews, and critical market events in partnership with the BP & Buying senior leadership team.
Align cross-functional teams around shared goals through robust planning frameworks and integrated operating models.
Act as a thought partner to senior executives, translating the Brand Partnerships vision into actionable roadmaps.
Organizational Transformation & Operating Model Redesign
Lead strategic transformation efforts in collaboration with external consultants (e.g., PwC), Talent, and Brand Partnerships and Buying leadership to evolve organizational design, team structures, and job architecture.
Oversee enterprise change management efforts, championing new ways of working to increase agility, accountability, and impact.
Market Readiness & Enablement
Own the market enablement strategy, ensuring comprehensive readiness for key product and brand partner events.
Develop and lead executive-level frameworks, timelines, and communication strategies to drive operational excellence and stakeholder engagement.
Performance Management & Innovation Oversight
Establish a centralized governance model for merchandising initiatives including brand activations, new category expansions, and product launches.
Drive performance analysis and continuous improvement through robust KPIs and executive-level reporting, optimizing for profitability, partner satisfaction, and customer experience.
Cross-Functional Integration & Strategic Real Estate Planning
Partner with Store Planning and Real Estate leadership to align renovation and expansion efforts with merchandising and brand strategies.
Lead cross-functional integration efforts, ensuring strategic alignment between real estate investments and enterprise growth goals.
Oversee special merchandising programs such as brand activations, category expansions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Ensure initiatives are aligned with global strategy, governance standards, and brand partner expectations.
Analyze key performance indicators to assess impact and optimize execution for improved profitability and customer experience.
