JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

This position is ultimately accountable for the top line revenue generated by Valify Subscriptions and VSG portfolio adoption in the US Healthcare Market. Responsible for the development, management and guidance of all Sales and Client Success activities for Valify and VSG, this role oversees the execution of policies, procedures and programs to achieve the maximum sales potential of technology subscriptions, consulting services, and administrative fee revenue. Develops strategies and tactics for building sales pipelines for HT members and non-HT members, setting/achieving sales objectives and coordinating pipeline forecasting, budgets, and reports. Provides leadership and supervision of all Valify sales and client success colleagues. Also collaborates and executes strategies on converting VSG members to HealthTrust or AdvantageTrust memberships, both of whom are strategic partners to Valify and also owned by HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE INCLUDES:

  • Collaborate with Valify and HealthTrust leadership to develop growth objectives, go-to-market strategies, and structure to proactively support achievement of those objectives and strategies.
  • Collaborate with VSG Implementation, Client Success, and Marketing to maintain and utilize information regarding Valify and VSG’s value propositions to potential members.
  • Lead the Sales function for Valify/VSG, providing effective leadership to ensure successful planning and execution leading to technology subscription and administrative fee growth.
  • Work with Valify operations to ensure complete and accurate information is used to forecast and communicate potential value of Valify’s offerings to value to prospects.
  • Prospect and secure meetings with health system/hospital stakeholders to communicate Valify/VSG’s value proposition.
  • Promote Valify’s technology value prop to senior hospital executives who are decision makers and influencers related to supply chain.
  • Promote VSG’s business model to senior hospital executives and applicable departmental leaders who are decision makers and influencers applicable to specific categories in the VSG portfolio.
  • Recruit Sales colleagues and onboard them to Valify; coordinate necessary training and performance management functions.
  • Demonstrate the willingness to delegate goals, monitor progress, and hold team members accountable.
  • Develop and maintain pipeline of prospects.
  • Generate prospective sales list and develop goals and strategies for selling.
  • Collaborate with Valify Marketing to coordinate and execute on campaigns targeting specific VSG categories.
  • Ensures high satisfaction and retention rates for Valify subscribers and VSG members.
  • Collaborate with Valify Marketing to:
  • complete a market assessment (competitive offerings and share) and develop a business plan for pursuits.
  • maintain information related to sales activity in Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar platform
  • plan for sales exhibits and trade shows; attending those pertinent to business.
  • ensure marketing materials are reflective of current capabilities

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University with concentration in business administration, economics, finance, or related field - Required
  • 7 to 10 years’ cumulative relevant experience, with at least five years of GPO or relevant sales and national account management experience in healthcare - Required
  • Intimate Knowledge of healthcare Provider market
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare, GPO operations and/or Supply Chain/ Materials Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in sales strategies and selling skills
  • Effective communication (oral, listening, writing, and presentation skills) with a variety of stakeholders from executives to staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary, matrix reporting team as a group leader, facilitator, or participant
