Overview This is a newly created position at Gentiva Hospice designed to support regional operations. The AVP of Clinical Education will provide leadership for the Frontier Region. The Associate Vice President of Clinical Education (AVPCE) provides oversight and management of region’s Directors of Clinical Education (DCOE). The AVPCE will ensure the support and education on compliance, federal and state regulatory requirements to assigned branches is prioritized and scheduled to ensure survey readiness. Primary accountability is to ensure the delivery of consistent high-quality education to associates on regulatory requirements and related organizational policies and standard operating procedures to ensure survey success About You Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Adheres to Organization’s Policy and Procedures and consistently promotes the company’s core values Working knowledge of hospice regulatory requirements, state and federal regulations, budget development, and human resources Ability to work with confidential information Possesses effective follow-up and strategic thinking skills Well organized, self-starter with a high degree of initiative, and ability to work independently as well as team build Ability to communicate clearly with remote field, mid-level, and executive staff; communicates regularly with supervisor about Department issues Exercises professional judgement and demonstrates good problem-resolution skills Extremely comfortable working with multiple online and computer applications Must be a collaborator who possesses effective people skills and maintains a positive and respectful attitude Understand documentation required to support medical necessity of hospice care.
