REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture, engineering, or operations.
  • Strong firsthand experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven experience in leading cloud transformation initiatives in mid-to-large-scale environments.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD, automation, and containerization (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR.
  • Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the organization’s cloud strategy in alignment with overall technology and business goals.
  • Lead cloud operations, including infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, cost management, monitoring, and support.
  • Partner with architecture, security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure cohesive cloud governance and adoption.
  • Manage vendor relationships with AWS, Azure and third-party service providers.
  • Establish cloud best practices, standards, and automation frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards across cloud environments.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of cloud engineers and specialists; mentor and develop talent.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and trends to recommend improvements or innovation opportunities.
