Job Description Job Summary The AVP, Credit Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive credit risk assessments of corporate clients, preparing detailed credit proposals, and monitoring portfolio performance to support sound lending decisions within UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited. Job Responsibilities** Conduct in-depth financial analysis of corporate clients, including financial statements, industry trends, and business models. Assess creditworthiness and identify key risk factors, developing robust risk mitigation strategies. Prepare comprehensive and well-reasoned credit proposals and credit reviews for presentation to credit committees. Monitor assigned credit portfolios, including early identification of deteriorating credit quality and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Engage with relationship managers and clients to gather necessary financial information and understand business operations. Participate in client meetings and due diligence processes as required. Stay updated on industry developments, economic trends, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk. Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit assessment processes and methodologies. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within a banking or financial institution. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a solid understanding of financial statements and ratios. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Sound knowledge of corporate banking products and credit risk principles. Possession of relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
