JOB DUTIES: Researches, designs, and develops a technical road-map, growth opportunities, strategies to remain competitive, and a product pipeline based on business value or return on investment (ROI). Maintains Agile and Scrum best practices for the team. Leads product release planning and establishes expectations for delivery of new technical functionalities. Mitigates impediments impacting successful completion of Release and Sprint. Sets direction for Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements. Reviews development backlogs, product demonstrations, design sessions, sprint planning, program increments, solution architecture and software engineering to deliver value through frequent product releases. Using Kafka framework, Swagger, Postman, or similar technologies for understanding Application Program Interface (API) documentation and testing. Drives insights and recommendations from feedback from advisors, internal stakeholders, and key enterprise partners. Collaborates with stakeholders to evaluate build versus buy decisions to support the product application suite and architecture. Communicates architectural diagrams and technology stack capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as an AVP, Technology Product Owner (or related occupation) managing cross-functional release planning and product delivery, and using Jira and Aha to build, plan, and mitigate product defects and roadmaps (stack ranking and prioritization).
Alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as an AVP, Technology Product Owner (or related occupation) managing cross-functional release planning and product delivery, and using Jira and Aha to build, plan, and mitigate product defects and roadmaps (stack ranking and prioritization).

Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) using financial modeling and forecasting in a fintech environment; measuring financial performance using data and reporting analytics methodologies; and using whiteboarding technology, Miro or Lucid spark to create space to collaborate on idea, application flow, building, experience options, and roadmap planning.
  • DE coordinating product release planning (cross functionally) when dependencies exist between product releases; mitigating impediments impacting completion of Release and Sprint using Jira release feature, Jira Query Language (JQL) to manage Jira tickets efficiently, and creating Jira dashboards and plans.
  • DE articulating design changes and modifications to customer centric applications using Figma files; and performing data analytics and visualizations using Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, and Alteryx to understand customer trends and applications usage.
  • DE developing high quality user stories, business architecture, and solution architecture; writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Gerkin language; using Lucid chart to create business system process flow; creating documentation for application and requirements using confluence, SharePoint, and BOX; and contributing to the product lifecycle using SQL queries, UI/API code, development tools, version control systems (Git), scaled agile (SAFe) development processes, and Agile methodologies.
