Job purpose: The Away from Home Manager is responsible for developing Lotus Bakeries business in the on trade channel (Travel / QSR / Café & Tea / Bakery and manufacture etc.). Place in the organization chart: The Away from Home Manager reports direct to Sales Director of LBCN, who reports direct to the Country Manager China.  1. Strategic Planning & Business Leadership: The AFH Manager owns the comprehensive business performance and strategic development of the AFH channel, including full P&L accountability and the execution of the annual business plan. The role is centered on transforming channel strategy into actionable, results-driven plans across key segments such as Travel, Café & Tea, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Travel, and Branded Partnership etc. within the AFH sector. 2. Portfolio Expansion & Customer Solutions: Drive the rollout of Lotus Biscoff “inside” initiatives by partnering directly with end customers to integrate Lotus Biscoff products—such as biscuits, crumbles, spreads, and toppings—into their menus and operational ecosystems. This includes co-creating usage applications, providing culinary support, and building tailored business solutions to maximize basket penetration and revenue generation. 3. Key Account & Segment Management: Build and strengthen strategic relationships with prioritized customers and partners within Coffee/Tea chains, QSRs, travel hubs, and On-Trade branded collaborations. Ensure alignment between brand strategy and customer-specific needs to foster long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration The AFH Manager will closely co-operate with the Category Development Manager Biscuits & Bakeries and global AFH team to ensure that all business is done in line with our brand guidelines. Apart from this he/she will work closely with all other functions to ensure successful and sustainable business development. The BDM will connect with people of the Global Brand & Customer Development department at the HQ in Belgium and with colleagues around the global. 5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Regularly review channel and customer performance against financial and strategic targets. Provide timely insights and corrective actions to senior management to ensure P&L objectives are met or exceeded.Education (degree): University with a bachelor’s degree or above. Specific knowledge: Entrepreneur, business builder with a “yes we can” mentality Good communication and presentation skills Languages: Fluent in Chinese; verbal and reading/writing Fluent in English; verbal and in reading/writing Experience: Proven business development experience ; used to work in A-brand FMCG company in AFH sales Customer Insights: Profound knowledge of the China Away from Home market structure Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business Personal competences: Strong personality, serious partner in business, perfect sparring partner at all levels and with all disciplines Strong communicator both internal and external Representative for the company. Analytical, fact based, solution thinker (‘how can we make this happen”) Hands on mentality, decision maker Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to deal with customers Accurately Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges
