MID-SENIOR LEVEL - 10+ YEARS IN IT, 5+ YEARS IN AWS ARCHITECTURE, 2+ YEARS IN CLOUD MIGRATION PROJECTS

Reports To: IT Manager
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Architect with strong experience in cloud architecture and migration strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions and leading complex migration initiatives from on-premise or legacy systems to AWS.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.)· Strong background in cloud migration methodologies using tools like AWS Migration Hub, DMS, SMS, CloudEndure, or 3rd-party tools.· Experience with Well-Architected Framework, cloud security, and compliance standards.· Proficiency in designing high-availability, scalable, and disaster recovery solutions.· Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.· Familiarity with containers (ECS, EKS, Docker), CI/CD, and DevOps pipelines.· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Certifications· AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or Associate)· Experience with hybrid cloud strategies and legacy modernization· Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is a plus· Background in software development or enterprise architecture
