AWS CERTIFIED SOLUTION ARCHITECT - CONTRACTOR
Pyrethra (www.pyrethra.com) is a Technology Advisory and Consulting Corporation based Canada with both national and international service scope. We are in the process of growing our team: we are currently hiring an AWS/Azure Certified Solution Architect to work on a various project both internal and external (clients projects)
We expect each member of our team should have a passion for technology and well-developed network within the technology industry.
As a AWS/Azure Certified Solution Architect contractor, you should have the following skillset
- Knowledge and skills in compute, networking, storage, and database AWS services as well as AWS/Azure deployment and management services
- Knowledge and skills in deploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS/Azure as well as implementing security controls and compliance requirements
- Knowledge and skills in using the Management Console and Command Line Interface (CLI)Understanding of Architected Framework, networking, security services, and the global infrastructure
- Ability to identify which AWS/Azure services meet a given technical requirement and to define technical requirements for an AWS/Azure-based application
- Advise in change management, contribute/collaborate with other staff and contractors including but not limited to system engineers, system administrators, cloud engineers, software developers, business development, tender/bidding teams, compliance, finance and accounting to deliver competitive and sound product and services to the customers.
In addition, you should:
1. Be experience in more than one industry (finance, health, logistics etc)
2. Keep abreast with the latest trends in the cyber security industry and participate in industry events and deliver cyber awareness trainings.
3. . Contribute to Pyrethra thought leadership through events, podcasts, video, white papers and other publications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Be trustworthy, have integrity and be consistent.
- Possess at least a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years cloud computing experience
- Possess a current AWS/Azure Certified Solution Architect certification (association level or more)
- . Experience in major hybrid cloud environment e.g., Azure, AWS etc
- Knowledge of major IT security standards and regulations
- Possess good public speaking skills and professional presentation
7.. Be eligible to work in Canada and and able to commute within the GTA as need arises.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: $35,009.62-$125,507.60 per year
