Join a leading NSW State Government Department for a 3-6 month contract within their Cloud team. We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer who can deliver advanced engineering solutions, support remediation initiatives with CISO, and drive BAU DevOps activities in a secure and complex environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver advanced AWS engineering solutions, ensuring best practice design and implementation.
Support AWS remediation activities in collaboration with the CISO and security teams.
Provide BAU DevOps support including creating VMs, troubleshooting incidents, managing backups, and cloud migrations.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and frameworks.
Support automation and CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery capability.
Implement and optimise AWS cost-saving tools and practices.
