As a Cloud Engineer, you work on complex systems, critical interfaces, and platforms for and with our customers. You will work in the Cloud Operations team with several other engineers. Your colleagues truly understand business context and requirements, design systems and platforms. You will learn from them, but you are also positive about contributing to the team and sharing your knowledge yourself. We automate as much as possible, support the (customer) team and developers on applications, and keep the platform secure, up to date, and available.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing large-scale AWS environments, especially those that function similarly to traditional data centers. Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is essential for this role, as you will be working on foundational cloud components and services that underpin our SaaS solutions. We create custom solutions for our customers, so we are not tied to a specific toolset or technology stack. However, for this role, we require approximately 5 years of experience in complex AWS environments. Additionally, candidates should be proficient in or willing to learn the following tools and technologies to automate, refactor, deploy, run, and monitor our systems.
Must haves:
Windows OS, SQL, Terraform, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, YAML.
Nice to have:
Kubernetes, Docker, Bash, Splunk, ELK.
At Exact, we value the balance between work and relaxation. You can work up a sweat in our own gym or take a break at the coffee bar. Clear your head and then tackle your daily tasks with renewed energy. And, of course, that's not all. As a Cloud Engineer, based on 40 hours per week, you can also count on:
