    The AWS Cloud Engineer V will be pivotal in defining and implementing secure architecture within our public cloud environment. The ideal candidate has experience in modern cloud practices with the experience to ensure success in our transformation.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or comparable with 8+ years of relevant
  • experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python and Golang coding languages
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code best practices and strong experience with building
  • complex Terraform modules for AWS cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS organizations and policy guardrails (SCP, AWS Config)
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS native networking services and cloud DNS inclusive of TGW, VPC,
Responsibilities
  • Hands-on role, providing technical leadership, responsible for the realization of AWS cloud strategy including infrastructure, machine learning and artificial intelligence platform services.
  • Responsible for the delivery of technical cloud strategies at scale leveraging Python, Golang and
  • Terraform tooling, promoting infrastructure as code to accelerate our cloud program.
  • Build cloud-native services to support application teams and contribute to the development of cloud
  • infrastructure automation.
  • Support application teams in leveraging cloud based artificial intelligence platforms and services,
  • enhancing internal customer experiences.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for the team to reference and share with our internal
  • customers
  • Provide technical support to regulatory agencies, external auditors, and internal auditors, as required,
  • to respond to audits and examinations of the Bank’s control environment.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members through coaching and training.
