JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the AWS platform, be capable of suggesting and implementing architectural changes, and possess a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must have 10+ years IT background
5+ years of Cloud infrastructure and engineering experience including virtualization, cloud, server, storage, and networking (i.e: EKS, Openstack,, Kubernetes, dockers, etc.)
VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, s3, Lambda – these 5 services are core
Strong experience in EKS (3 to 5 years)
Handson experience of networking concepts and services (Route 53, Direct Connect).
Elastic Kubernetes Services
Elastic Load Balancers, Network load balancers
Transit Gateways
Private Link
Direct Link
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools:
Terraform or CloudFormation.
Ansible
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools - Gitlab, Gitlab Runner.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with the Backstage framework.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification.
Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.

’NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR).
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.60 - $60.28 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
