AWS CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT

BearingPoint is currently recruiting for an experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architect to join our successful global consulting firm in our Dublin office.
As a trusted advisor and a member of BearingPoint’s Technology Delivery team, you will have the opportunity to work with leading organisations to help define and implement their cloud computing strategy. You will gain a deep understanding of our clients’ business objectives and play a key role in realising these through the design and implementation of robust, scalable cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for defining cloud and hybrid solution architectures and legacy migration strategies based on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Acting as a technical leader for one or more Agile Delivery Teams, you will take full responsibility for the design and quality of the teams’ output. Additionally, you will contribute to our internal communities to share best practices, industry trends, and accelerators to maximise client outcomes.

• Define solution architectures that translate business needs into realisable system designs leveraging the latest AWS IaaS and PaaS capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to conduct the analysis required to support solution definition.
• Work across diverse industry domains and solution types, gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies.
• Use your technical expertise to design and build systems that deliver real business value.
• Communicate your vision and designs effectively through documentation and presentations.
• Analyse complex technology challenges and structure innovative solutions.
• Work across a broad range of solutions including packaged applications, custom systems, integration platforms, data processing, and web technologies.
• Integrate intelligent capabilities into enterprise architectures, leveraging models, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Design and implement AI and machine learning–enabled solutions using cloud-native tools to enhance automation, analytics, and decision-making.
• Contribute to IT strategy, architecture governance, technology evaluations, and play a key role in technology decision-making processes.
• Incorporate DevOps practices into solution design and ensure alignment with CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate and standardise cloud deployments.
• Support clients in implementing FinOps practices to optimise cloud cost management and governance.
