AWS Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing AWS infrastructure as code using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to support data engineering pipelines. You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable, and automated deployment of data-related services such as AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, S3, and associated data pipelines.
Design and implement scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK (in Python or TypeScript).
Develop and manage data pipelines leveraging AWS Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift, and Lambda.
Automate deployment and configuration of data services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Collaborate with data engineers to provision and optimize resources needed for ETL/ELT workloads.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data infrastructure using CloudWatch, SNS, or third-party tools.
Optimize cost and performance of data workloads and suggest improvements.
Ensure security best practices (IAM policies, encryption, network design) are followed in infrastructure setup.
Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing and deployment.
Document infrastructure and processes for internal knowledge sharing and audits.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues across development and production environments.

Pay: $81,286.25-$110,409.11 per year
