Key Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and managing Kubernetes-based platform components on AWS.
• Designing and Improving CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Implementing best practices in observability, security, platform reliability, and cost optimisation.
• Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to streamline delivery.
• Implement automations to enhance platform efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
• Participate in DevSecOps practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform engineering processes.
• Provide support and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.

Your Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in large-scale platform engineering, preferably with AWS technologies
• Strong understanding of cloud services, architecture, and networking.
• Proficiency in DevOps, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Experience in highly regulated enterprises with a focus on security and controls compliance.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as AWS EKS, ECS, GitHub Actions, Terraform and Python.
• A passion for solving complex problems and driving engineering excellence.
