DevSecOps Engineer – Hybrid 2 days On-site in Guadalajara We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join a leading global consulting firm, supporting secure software delivery and strengthening CI/CD pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments. This role focuses on embedding security into DevOps workflows, automating security testing, enhancing cloud infrastructure security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure solutions. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience in DevOps or Security Engineering, expertise with CI/CD tools, and strong understanding of secure coding, cloud environments, and security frameworks. Key Responsibilities Collaborate on the design, development, and testing of secure technical solutions. Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure software delivery. Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) to identify vulnerabilities early in the lifecycle. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with embedded security controls for consistent deployments. Install, configure, and troubleshoot virtual servers and network issues. Monitor systems and applications for security threats using SIEM, log analysis, and anomaly detection tools. Manage secrets and credentials securely using vaults and access control mechanisms. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR. Respond to cloud and on-prem security incidents, supporting rapid resolution and recovery. Participate in project kickoff and solution handoff meetings. Act as technical owner of assigned modules within cloud solution ecosystems. Recommend improvements to procedures, tools, and security best practices. Promote DevSecOps culture, encouraging shared responsibility for security across teams. Technical Skills Required 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Security Engineering. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions. Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization. Knowledge of security frameworks and tools (SAST/DAST/SCA). Experience with system monitoring, SIEM tools, and log analysis. Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and secure deployment practices. Preferred Skills Certifications such as CISSP, CKA, AWS Security (nice to have). Familiarity with zero-trust architecture. Exposure to threat modeling and risk assessment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. Ability to manage and support modules within cloud solution ecosystems. Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Advanced English (required).
