Job Title: Staff Engineer – Software (AWS Connect Developer/ Cloud Developer)
Location: Developer, CO (Onsite)
Duration: Contract

JOB OVERVIEW:

Seeking an experienced Staff AWS Connect Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and integrated AWS Connect contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, contact center technologies, and software engineering best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 6+ years in AWS Connect development.
  • Proficient in AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch.
  • Strong in IVR, call routing, telephony integrations.
  • Skilled in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, microservices, and DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) are a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and security best practices.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Expertise in scalable, distributed systems and event-driven/serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of both SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
  • Familiar with telephony, WebRTC, voice processing, and real-time systems.
  • Exposure to machine learning tools for customer support (e.g., chatbots, speech recognition).
  • Proven ability to deliver production-grade systems at scale
    Job Type: Contract
    Pay: $85.00 - $88.00 per hour
