Job Description The Infrastructure Architect is a senior technical authority responsible for defining, owning, and evolving the AWS-based infrastructure that supports large-scale IVR and voice platforms. This role ensures that cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with long-term business and technical strategy. The Infrastructure Architect translates business and non-functional requirements into robust AWS architecture designs, establishing cloud standards, governance models, and reliability frameworks. Working closely with Application Architects, DevOps Engineers, IVR Engineers, and Project Managers, the role provides architectural leadership across AWS services, automation, networking, security, and operational excellence. The Infrastructure Architect remains technically engaged, validates cloud implementations, and guides platform evolution to meet performance, availability, and cost-efficiency goals. Responsibilities Own and define end-to-end AWS infrastructure architecture for IVR and voice platforms Design scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud architectures across multiple availability zones and regions Define AWS architecture standards, best practices, and governance models Architect VPC design, networking topology, routing, security groups, and connectivity strategies Design and govern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) Define cloud security architecture, including IAM strategy, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls Architect compute and container strategies (EC2, Auto Scaling, ECS/EKS if applicable) Define storage and database infrastructure strategy (RDS, S3, EBS, backup and recovery models) Establish disaster recovery and business continuity strategies in AWS Define observability standards (CloudWatch, logging, metrics, tracing integrations) Guide cost optimization strategies and cloud resource governance Identify performance constraints, scalability risks, and architectural bottlenecks early Review cloud implementations to ensure compliance with architectural standards Support complex production issues from a systemic cloud architecture perspective Collaborate with stakeholders on feasibility assessments, technical planning, and risk management Qualifications Proven experience designing AWS-based infrastructure architecture in enterprise environments Deep expertise in AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, ELB/ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling) Strong understanding of multi-AZ and multi-region architecture design Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) Strong knowledge of AWS networking, security, and identity management Experience designing disaster recovery and high-availability cloud systems Solid understanding of Linux-based systems in AWS environments Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, centralized logging solutions) Understanding of cloud cost management and optimization principles Experience supporting IVR, Genesys, SIP, or voice platforms in AWS is a strong advantage Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and networking layers Ability to clearly communicate architectural trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Additional Information We offer: Culture of relentless performance: join an unstoppable technology development team with a 99% project success rate and more than 30% year-over-year revenue growth.
