  As a Mid Level Platform Engineer, you will work in the platform engineering team to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of our platform’s infrastructure, ensuring it meets our standards for scalability, reliability, and security. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior engineers, contribute to our technology strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the growth of our product.

EXPERIENCE

• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and modern front-end development frameworks and tools.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure and efficient RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging platforms like Kafka.
• Experience with TDD and frameworks like Junit.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team with other engineers, designers, and business teams to achieve project goals.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of our platform infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and highly available services.
• Support the adoption of best practices in continuous integration, delivery (CI/CD), and GitOps systems, leveraging the Atlassian stack (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira) and other tools as necessary.
• Help manage our cloud environment in AWS, focusing on optimization, cost- efficiency, and security.
• Participate in the management and scaling of Kubernetes clusters for advanced container orchestration.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Assist in the monitoring and performance tuning of systems, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Support system security measures, incorporating the latest in security best practices and technologies.
• Collaborate with development and operational teams to ensure seamless deployment and scaling of services.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in platform engineering, cloud services, and security.
