Company Description Job Description Job Title: AWS Solution Architect Location: Remote from EST or CST Contract: 6 months role. Key Responsibilities: Analyze the existing documentation of the landscape shared by client, prepare a set of required questionnaires, discovery activities to establish an accurate representation of the landscape with dependencies, integration applications, and business stakeholders/vendor stakeholders. Be very clear to steer the application based on Business Criticality and ensure alignment with client Program Manager closely with proactive communication. Create Solution Architecture artifacts of current state and future state, comfortable with draw.io and designing AWS Architecture diagrams with all components and also ability to develop Authentication and Authorization flow for applications) with client provided standard framework. Coordinate with IAM (Microsoft Entra ID) and SSO implementation stakeholders navigating and establishing clear future state Authentication and Authorization frameworks, roles and access patterns and secure approvals. Coordinate with InfoSec stakeholders and present the current state and future state Security aspects aligning them with IT Security policy frameowrk of client and deviations if any and secure approvals. Coordinate with business stakeholders and Application owners to ensure the migration of application is seamless without any business impact. Coordinate with all the dependent IT teams, Vendors and ensure the Solution Outline is comprehensive and also provide solutions for blockers if any during the technical working sessions. Present the Solution and migration aspects to Architecture review board of client and ensure to secure approval and all the recommendations are addressed. Flexible to accomodate meetings with Europe stakeholders or early morning US hours. Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with diverse teams across multiple time zones. Follow the client Program planning and be transparent about timelines, challenges, blockers and ability to understand and act to achieve optimal results within the deadlines. Qualifications Technical Skills and Experience: 5 year of experience in creating solution architecture for a varied set of applications (custom coded and commercial off-the-shelf), on-premises (VMware) and cloud (AWS and Azure) hosting services. AWS Services EC2, VPC, Security, RDS, IAM, Lambda, SES etc. and good hands-on with deploying AWS services leveraging Terraform, BitBucket. Good hands-on with Windows server Power Shell scripting, IIS deployment and configuration. Knowledge of database management services, backup & restore processes, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security (network, hosting). Experience working in factory environments, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of such settings. Desired cloud certifications: AWS Solution Architect.
