JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all aspects of driving and vehicle maintenance.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Experience in freight handling and logistics is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair is beneficial for maintaining the vehicle.

  Pay: $27.54-$33.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods over long distances.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight using forklifts and other equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Perform basic automotive repair tasks as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation.
