YARD DRIVER – AZ LICENSED (CN/CP RAIL YARD EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time – Evening Shift
Pay: $22 to $24 per hour (Based on experience)

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled AZ Yard Driver to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth and safe movement of trailers and containers within CN and CP rail yards and surrounding customer locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving and experience in freight handling and yard operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid AZ License with a clean abstract.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving tractor-trailers.
• Experience with CN and/or CP rail yards is required.
• Must have 2 years experience letter from previous employer (required)
• Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling is a strong asset.
• Background in automotive repair is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with dispatch.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

• Safely operate yard trucks to move trailers and containers within the yard.
• Pickup and delivery of intermodal containers from CN/CP rail yards.
• Yard-to-yard and terminal-to-customer movements.
• Load and unload freight as needed, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
• Perform vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of movements and trailer locations.
• Follow all CN/CP terminal procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading schedules.
• Assist with keeping the yard clean and organized.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment when required.
