JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in commercial driving or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic automotive repair skills is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location: In perso

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Assist in the operation of forklifts or heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
• Perform basic automotive repairs or maintenance on vehicles when necessary.
