REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
  • Experience in handling freight, including loading and unloading procedures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
  • Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.
