POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver to join our greenhouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of greenhouse products (such as plants, produce, or supplies) to various delivery locations, including distribution centers, retail stores, or farms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum2 years of AZ driving experience (greenhouse/agriculture delivery preferred).
• Knowledge of load securing techniques and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with perishable or fragile cargo handling is an asset.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Physically fit; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling repetitive tasks.

• Operate AZ-class vehicles (including tractor-trailers, reefers, or flatbeds) to transport greenhouse goods.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and in good working condition.
• Load and unload goods, using proper safety procedures to protect fragile or live products (e.g., plants).
• Verify and secure loads according to safety and transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and log records using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time, following assigned schedules and routes.
• Communicate with dispatch and logistics teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
• Follow all provincial and federal transportation regulations and company policies.
• Occasionally assist with general greenhouse or warehouse tasks as needed.
