JOB SUMMARY

Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP), a subsidiary of Z’gamok Enterprises Inc., an Indigenous business fully owned by Sagamok Anishnawbek, provides a diverse range of services across multiple business segments, including construction, haulage, underground mining services, and commercial janitorial.
Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP) is recruiting a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of AZ Driver.
The AZ Driver is responsible for completing short haul deliveries in and around the Greater Sudbury area by operating triaxle dumps and/or triaxle with pups. Hauling includes but is not limited to waste rock, sand, aggregates, and equipment by float trailers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Valid class AZ License
· Clean drivers abstract
· Minimum 2-3 year of experience
· Basic measurement and calculation skills
· Ability to follow safe working procedures.
· Excellent observation skills and strong attention to detail.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
· Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

· Secure all loads, materials, and equipment.
· Operate vehicle in accordance with laws and regulations at all times.
· Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior
· Perform mandatory daily pre-trips and post-trips inspections in accordance with current laws and regulations.
· Maintain accurate log in compliance with current laws and regulations.
· Verify hauling material and weight.
· Ability to take direction and communicate verbally.
· Constantly monitor, service, and document the equipment logs and inspections as per the preventative maintenance and standard requirements.
· Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
· Complete daily paperwork detailing job hours and job hazards
· Comply with Z’gamok Construction LP’s policies and procedures.
· Attend locations including both residential and commercial construction sites.
· Perform other related duties as required.
