JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (AZ or Class 1) is required.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
  • Familiarity with Flatbed, Step Deck heavy equipment operation.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Secure, Tarp, Untarp Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.
