OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required (3 Years plus)
  • Experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight handling procedures 3 YEARS PLUS.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
  • Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety on the road.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.

Responsibilities
  • Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents encountered during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.
