AZ Truck Driver Vacancy Status: Vacant Replacement Position Hours of Work: This is an hourly-paid position. Hours of work are not guaranteed and are scheduled based on the needs of the business and may vary from week to week. This is an 8 month contract opportunity. The AZ Truck Driver is responsible for providing world-class customer service in the pick-up and delivery of goods to Goodwill’s Retail Stores, Attended Donation Centres (ADCs), and any other Goodwill facilities. What You Will Do: * Provide world-class customer service by helping customers, answering questions, and sharing your passion for our mission when interacting with people. * Drive and work in a safe, professional, and courteous manner both on the road and at all Goodwill facilities. * Ensure the safety and good operating condition of the truck by completing pre-trip inspections, such as, checking oil and fuel levels * Maintain acceptable product standards. * Follow Goodwill’s Policies and Health & Safety guidelines. * Contribute to teamwork with added activities * Complete the unloading of trucks and/or trailers at all Goodwill locations including stores, ADC’s and other relevant locations as assigned. Ensure that the truck is kept clean and tidy for the next Driver to use. This includes the interior of the truck, the exterior of the truck/trailer, and inside the truck/trailer boxes. What We Are Looking For: * Enthusiasm: excited to work with other people and teams. * Flexibility: able to work at various times, including days, evenings, and weekends. * Communication: effectively speaking with and listening to team members and customers to create a positive workplace. * Problem-solving: finding solutions to problems, being accurate, and using simple math such as counting, adding and subtraction. * High school diploma an asset. * Class AZ license is a must. * Clean Driver’s Abstract/CVOR (as determined by Goodwill). * Experience working with the public. * Customer Service experience is an asset.
