Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a livebottom hauling aggregates in southern Ontario. Winter time, we haul salt. Its dedicated, well maintained equipment
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Follow safety procedures and traffic laws at all times
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
- Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines
Experience:
- Prior experience in commercial driving preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair for basic maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with handling freight and securing loads
- Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy equipment is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to truck driving
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical stamina for 8 - 12 hour days

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
