JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and the operation of heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will also be expected to perform basic automotive repairs as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
  • Experience in freight handling and transportation preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.

Responsibilities
  • Operate trucks to transport freight to various locations in a timely manner.
  • Must know how to drive a manual dry van with AZ flat bed preferred.
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.
