Description

Established in 1977 Therm-O-Comfort is a family owned and operated business that has been in operation for 47 years producing high quality cellulose fibre insulation.
Therm-O-Comfort is looking for an experienced AZ truck driver to join our team. The position is ideal for those who are looking to work weekdays only and be home every night.

The following responsibilities/ duties will be required in this position:

  • Deliver products to various businesses located in Ontario as well job sites.
  • Back haul raw materials, pallets and other items as required.
  • Assist in the off-loading of palletized loads using an electric pallet jack.
  • Operate all vehicles and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ensure cargo and any loose items are properly secured.
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections and accurately complete logbook and inspection reports.
  • Cross-check contents of trailer with documentation (e.g. BOL, Talley Cards, etc.) and ensure it is complete and signed.
  • Ensure loads are delivered at the scheduled time, start times could be early to make it on time.
  • Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all company health and safety policies.
  • Cooperate with all customers and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain and clean truck on a routine basis (weekly).
  • Other duties as assigned

Overtime pay will begin after 44 hours of work per week.
Operator will be driving a company truck.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AZ Driver’s License
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Clean abstract
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
