On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for an Azure AI Consultant for a 6 month contract role. This position is remote.

AZURE AI CONSULTANTS - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with strong Azure AI and Generative AI expertise to join a dedicated team driving a strategic GenAI project. The engineer will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud-based AI solutions using Microsoft Azure.

AZURE AI CONSULTANTS - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven experience with Azure AI Services, especially Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, or Cognitive Services.
  • Familiarity with deploying and managing LLMs or GenAI solutions in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity, Monitoring).
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, access controls, and identity management.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

AZURE AI CONSULTANTS – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience in LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or vector database integration (e.g., Azure Cognitive Search, Redis, or others).
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI practices and AI governance in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure supporting AI/ML and GenAI workloads.
  • Build and operationalize Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, etc.
  • Deploy and monitor GenAI models (e.g., GPT, LLMs) in Azure using best practices around scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance of cloud-based AI systems.
  • Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of the GenAI platform.
  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the project team.
