Infosys is seeking an Azure and Databricks Cloud Data Engineer. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidate must live within commuting distance of Portland, OR or be willing to relocate. Travel within the US may be required.

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Synapse.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• DevOps (Terraform, Jenkins, Bricksflow, Github, Docekr etc), Exposure to Databricks , Python Spark , AWS , SQL

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
