Job Description Manages and maintains the Azure infrastructure underpinning the OSDU platform applications, spanning operational support, infrastructure maintenance, and CI/CD pipeline development. Infrastructure in scope • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) – cluster management, workload deployment, scaling, and monitoring • Azure Front Door – routing, load balancing, WAF, and edge configuration • CI/CD pipelines – build, test, and deployment automation Core skills • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and Kubernetes generally (deployments, services, ingress, Helm) • Azure Front Door configuration and management • CI/CD tooling and pipeline development (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) • Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates) • General Azure platform administration Responsibilities • Manage, monitor, and maintain AKS clusters and associated workloads • Configure and optimise Azure Front Door for performance, security, and availability • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting the application portfolio • Support deployment, release, and environment management processes • Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues as part of a distributed offshore team Nice to have • Familiarity with the OSDU data platform and energy/subsurface domain • Experience with observability tooling (e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus/Grafana) • Understanding of container security and Kubernetes hardening practices • Service mesh experience (e.g. Istio) Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years Qualifications Manages and maintains the Azure infrastructure underpinning the OSDU platform applications, spanning operational support, infrastructure maintenance, and CI/CD pipeline development.
