As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing enterprise-scale cloud solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, high-performing, and scalable cloud architectures while collaborating with IT teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders. You will contribute to digital transformation initiatives, support mission-critical applications, and drive operational efficiency across hybrid and cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in Azure services, cloud security, and containerization with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to mentor junior team members. This role offers a fully remote, high-impact environment where innovation and continuous improvement are central. Accountabilities Architect, implement, and manage enterprise-scale solutions in Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and governance frameworks. Collaborate with business and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, cost-effective cloud solutions. Lead integration and deployment of web-based applications, hybrid cloud solutions, and mobility platforms. Monitor cloud system performance, uptime, and operational issues, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization. Stay current with emerging Azure and cloud technologies, evaluating their applicability to enterprise use. Support disaster recovery strategies, cloud migrations, and business continuity planning. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technical staff, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. 6+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years in Azure-focused architecture or engineering roles. Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and security. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless architecture, and hybrid cloud environments. Proficiency in cloud security, IAM, encryption, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
