Job Description – Azure Cloud Security Specialist (Healthcare Insurance)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Security Specialist to join our healthcare insurance
technology team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain security controls in
Azure cloud environments while ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and
other healthcare regulations. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in Azure cloud
security, coupled with strong knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Security & Compliance
 Design and enforce Azure security architecture across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
environments.
 Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST security frameworks, providing
audit-ready evidence.
 Define and enforce security baselines using Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Security
Center.
Identity & Access Management
 Manage Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management
