Job Overview Key Responsibilities Lead end to end migration of data platforms from Azure Databricks to Databricks on GCP Assess existing Azure data architecture involving ADF, Databricks, Synapse, AAS, ADLS, and related services Design target state architecture on GCP using Databricks, GCS, BigQuery (where applicable) and other native GCP services Define migration patterns for: Spark based Data Engineering workloads Delta Lake tables Job orchestration and scheduling Security, identity, and data access controls Optimize Databricks workloads for cost, performance, and scalability on GCP Collaborate with BI teams (e.g., Power BI) to ensure reporting continuity during and after migration Provide technical leadership to data engineers and reviewers during implementation Required Skills & Experience 15+ years in data engineering and analytics architecture Strong hands on expertise with Databricks (Azure and/or GCP) Proven experience migrating Spark/Databricks workloads across cloud platforms Solid understanding of: Delta Lake internals Cluster sizing and tuning Job orchestration and monitoring Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, AAS Strong SQL, PySpark, and data modeling skills Exposure to Unity Catalog, data governance, and fine grained access control Capgemini is an AI-powered global business and technology transformation partner, delivering tangible business value.
