This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client office in downtown at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze, interpret, and transform complex data sets using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
  • Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings for data integration and transformation processes.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
  • Utilize Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse) to support data ingestion and transformation.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data flows, mappings, and business rules.
  • Support data modeling efforts and work with modeling tools to design scalable data structures.

Future-Focused Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of AI/ML-ready data pipelines and real-time analytics solutions.
  • Implement data governance and metadata management practices using Azure Purview or similar tools.
  • Support the transition to data mesh or domain-oriented data architecture.
  • Drive the adoption of self-service analytics by enabling business users with curated datasets and semantic layers.
  • Participate in the development of automated data quality checks and data observability frameworks.
  • Stay current with advancements in cloud analytics, data modeling techniques, and Azure innovations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Data Factory,
  • Azure Functions, Azure Synapse
  • Strong programming skills in ETL, SQL, PySpark, Python
  • Exposure to Data modeling tool
  • Good Communication skill
