SMX is seeking a highly skilled DevOps/Configuration Manager to join our team. This role will support a larger team with the overall responsibility for managing the Financial Management System continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) process including overall system configuration, code and release management along with driving improvements to the process.
This is a full-time hybrid position requiring on-site work three days a week in Washington, D.C.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3+ Years as a DevOps / Configuration Manager on a federal IT development and modernization effort
• 3+ Years experience with the Microsoft Azure Dev platform
• Specific focus on code/release management and pipeline automation

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Azure certifications

• Experience implementing and refining continuous integration and continuous delivery initiatives in a cloud hosted environments
• Experience implementing and refining continuous integration and continuous deliver with third party managed service providers
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials.
