Description
Lead and execute the migration of applications and infrastructure from on-premises environments to private Azure cloud. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools and best practices. Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment workflows. Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or similar tools. Implement and enforce Azure security policies, including role-based access control (RBAC), identity and access management (IAM), network security groups (NSGs), and encryption mechanisms. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Stay up-to-date with Azure platform updates and security best practices to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. Document architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures. Mentor and guide junior engineers and share DevOps knowledge across teams. 8+ years of overall experience in DevOps or related roles. Proven hands-on experience with migrating on-premises workloads to private Azure cloud environments. Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repos, artifacts, and boards. Deep understanding of Azure security best practices, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, identity management, and compliance standards. Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible. Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and documentation skills. Azure certifications such as AZ-400 (Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) or AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate). Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of networking fundamentals and cloud networking architecture. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
