About the role... We are currently seeking an experienced Azure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad. What you will do... Supporting and maintaining the integration architecture and ensuring alignment with IT and business strategies. Actively participate in team’s deliverables, contributing to the development and improvement of backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend systems. Test and debug code to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Assist in identifying and fixing technical issues in a timely manner. Assisting in cloud adoption initiatives and evaluating their impact on performance, infrastructure, networks, and security. Engaging in ongoing improvement activities, such as technology reviews, root cause analysis, and cloud portfolio reviews, to maintain optimal cloud environments. Partnering with Data Scientist teams to support Big Data analysis, data processing, and reporting on Azure cloud platform. Collaborating with IT Security Teams to ensure cloud infrastructure security and assisting with operational activities like log reviews. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies. Technical Skills required... Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and other Cloud platforms and 5 to 7 years of total experience. Prior experience with Terraform, Azure Pipelines and Azure DevOps. Proven expertise in configuring and using PaaS offerings (e.g., WebApp, Azure Database services, Azure Kubernetes, Azure DataBricks). Strong knowledge of cloud-based delivery models and security practices, including access control, data loss prevention, and vulnerability management. Hands-on experience with Azure policies and cloud security controls. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams and stakeholders at all levels. Certifications in the following will be considered as an asset: Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Behavioral Attributes...
