ABOUT THE JOB YOU’RE CONSIDERING
Capgemini is seeking an Azure Solutions Architect for a full-time position. This is hybrid role and candidate needs to be local or relocate to either one of the client locations - Strongly preferred: Columbia, SC, Fort Mill, SC, Charlotte, NC or Portland, OR.

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience architecting cloud-based solutions
- Recent experience architecting solutions in Azure
- Strong technical knowledge of Azure PaaS, IaaS, and Azure AD
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns, concepts and best practices
- Experience with Service Fabric and Containers (AKS)
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture, SOA, Microservices and Serverless Computing
- PowerShell/Bash with knowledge of Azure Infrastructure-as-Code including Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
- Understanding of application scaling to support increases in traffic
- Recent experience in a collaborative Agile working environment (Scrum preferred)
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Experience in provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running in the cloud
- Must be able to work on multiple projects and consistently meet project deadlines
OTHER DESIRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred) or MCSD Azure solutions developer
- Familiarity with Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB and Data Lake (Gen 2 Storage)
- Experience in Windows / Linux Virtualization, Networking
- Previous .Net Core development experience
- Experience with Visual Studio, GIT and ServiceNow
- Interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels and across disciplines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, strong work ethic and high standard of excellence
