B&P Digital Delivery Lead – Europe & Ireland AECOM is recruiting a B&P Digital Delivery Lead to join our Built & Places (B&P) business across Europe & Ireland. This role can be based in any of our UK or Ireland offices, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Dublin. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the digital delivery strategy for B&P across the EUR&I region—accelerating adoption of digital tools, embedding AI into project delivery, and driving productivity, quality, and consistency across our services. As B&P Digital Delivery Lead, you will work closely with: B&P Leadership teams B&P Global Digital Leadership Engineering & Consulting (EC) counterparts TPG and AI Development teams You will lead the regional coordination of digital initiatives, align teams around a common strategy, and ensure our projects deliver market-leading digital outcomes that support business growth and client value. What You’ll Do Digital Strategy & Leadership Shape and coordinate the B&P EUR&I Digital Delivery Strategy, aligned to global and regional business goals. Act as the regional point of contact for B&P digital initiatives. Regularly update B&P Leadership, TPG, and wider stakeholders on progress, outcomes, and challenges. Collaboration & Integration Engage with Discipline and Country Digital Leads, AI Development teams, EC counterparts, and TPG business units to align priorities and delivery. Lead digital coordination with EC to ensure consistency and standardisation across teams. Digital Capability & Adoption Evaluate and enhance regional digital capabilities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. Drive adoption of approved software, AI solutions, tools, and digital processes across project delivery. Coordinate with Operations Support on software approvals and usage. Lead implementation of: Digital Healthy Starts Project setup standards Digital delivery support frameworks AI & Innovation Coordinate with AI Development teams to identify, pilot, and embed effective AI solutions for B&P. Encourage innovation and best practice sharing across disciplines and geographies. Community & Team Leadership Lead a network of Discipline and Country Digital Leads to build a strong regional digital community. Establish discipline-specific digital strategies aligned with the overall B&P Digital Strategy. Lead communications, engagement, and awareness of digital initiatives across B&P teams. Support training and capability development to ensure teams meet digital delivery requirements. Bids & Client Value Support key bids and proposals, providing compelling digital delivery content that demonstrates value, innovation, and differentiation. Objectives Embed high-quality, consistent digital delivery and AI across B&P projects. Ensure digital initiatives meet defined standards, objectives, and KPIs. Build and grow a coordinated EUR&I discipline delivery network. Identify and scale discipline-specific digital innovation opportunities. Improve awareness, engagement, and adoption of digital tools and processes across the region. Key Outputs & KPIs Increased adoption of approved digital software, AI, processes, and tools. A strong, active digital community driving regional digital maturity. Clear, effective communication and visibility of digital initiatives. Positive feedback from teams on digital delivery support and outcomes. High-quality digital input into key ECP / Tier 2 bids. Qualifications What we’re looking for We’re seeking a digital leader with proven experience operating in the digital delivery space within the built environment or consultancy sector. You’ll bring a strong mix of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and leadership capability—able to turn vision into action and drive meaningful change at scale. Skills, Experience & Attributes Proven experience in a digital leadership or digital transformation role within the built environment, engineering, or consultancy sector. Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to translate digital vision into practical, deliverable outcomes. Deep understanding of digital tools, platforms, and innovation in a construction or professional services context. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at senior leadership level. A proactive self-starter, comfortable working as part of both regional and global teams. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple time zones. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including presenting ideas and influencing decision-makers. Demonstrated ability to champion, lead, and embed new ideas, programmes, and solutions. Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to prioritise effectively and deliver cost-effective solutions aligned with budgets.
