Description

We are seeking experienced B-Pressure Welders with Rig to support a water piping replacement project within an active operating facility. At Ledcor, you’ll be part of a dependable crew focused on safety, teamwork and delivering quality results. Essential Responsibilities: Perform pressure welding on piping systems in accordance with ABSA codes, WPS, and project specifications Execute SMAW (stick) and GTAW (tig) welding on carbon steel piping for industrial applications Read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, welding procedures, and drawings to ensure accurate work Complete fit-up, root pass, fill, and cap welding to meet quality and code requirements Support rigging and positioning of pipe using appropriate equipment and safe practices Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including hot work permits and lockout/tagout Maintain welding rig, tools, and consumables to ensure safe and efficient operation on site Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality Qualifications: Journeyperson Welder ticket from a recognized provincial training authority Alberta B‑Pressure Welder Certification CWB Welder Certification Provide current DSP (Direct Service Provider) documentation Previous experience in industrial construction/maintenance, facility pipeline or pipeline maintenance is required Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies Valid driver’s license Work Conditions: Applicants who reside in Fort McMurray will be given preference due to the location of the project Camp accommodations available Living out allowance available 14 days on, 7 days off shift rotation working 12 hours per day Must be able to work day or night shifts Benefits provided by CLAC Additional Information Ledcor Pipeline offers a unique set of pipeline services unmatched anywhere in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities
Perform pressure welding on carbon steel piping systems using SMAW and GTAW processes in accordance with ABSA codes and project specifications. Responsible for pipe fit-up, rigging, and maintaining welding equipment while adhering to strict site safety protocols.
